From Whole30 Headmistress Melissa Hartwig
IT’S HERE. The piece of the Whole30 you’ve been missing, the one piece I couldn’t bring to you because I can’t be all places at once, the one my team has been envisioning, creating, and refining for the last two years.
In-person support, guidance, and coaching for the Whole30 program is here. And if you’ve been helping people succeed with the Whole30 in your community; as a dietitian, health care practitioner, personal trainer, chef, recipe creative, co-worker, friend, or family member, you now have a way to turn that passion into a business.
Help us grow, share, and spread the life-changing mission of the Whole30 in your local community as a Whole30 Certified Coach.

Become a Coach
Our new Coaching program is open to anyone, anywhere—worldwide. If you have a passion for the Whole30, extensive experience with the program, and practice leading or guiding people through the program, you’re eligible to apply. Some ways we envision our Coaches working with their clients in their local communities:
- Hosting weekly group coaching sessions during the 30 days (and beyond)
- Conducting Whole30 seminars and events
- Teaching Whole30 grocery shopping, meal prep, or cooking classes
- Coaching clients one-on-one (where permitted by law, according to your scope of practice)
- Appearing on local media on behalf of Whole30
- Coaching other coaches
But your opportunities aren’t limited; we want our Coaches to grow and expand the program’s resources in ways we haven’t imagined! As a Coach, you’ll stay closely connected to Melissa and Coaching Program Manager Kristen Crandall in a private Facebook group, discussing best practices, applications for your business, coaching tips, and connecting with other Coaches throughout the world.

Turn Passion into Practice
Once certified, our Coaches are licensed to use our legally registered Whole30 trademark and logo to advertise and promote their services and earn income from their coaching efforts. But be warned—the certification process is not easy! Coaches need to come to the table knowing their stuff; not everyone who applies will be accepted and not everyone who takes the examination will pass. Only the most qualified Coaches will be certified; those with the drive, determination, and experience, to best represent our program and our brand in their local communities.
Even better, as we begin to certify Coaches in your area, program participants will have the opportunity to work with a Whole30 Certified Coach, maximizing your Whole30 success and ensuring you feel supported, motivated, and accountable for the duration of your program.
