I'm now in roughly the same shape I was in right after college and I'm 51.

First, let me say that in the past I was generally a skeptic regarding the impact of diet changes on seemingly unrelated health issues. I am a skeptic no longer!

In February of 2019, I decided to give the Whole30 a shot because some friends had recommended it and I was having some problems with snoring (my wife was going to kill me!), esophageal spasms when eating certain foods, some skin issues, and I had stopped working out. Within FIVE DAYS of starting Whole 30 my snoring stopped. I haven’t had a spasm while eating in seven months. I haven’t had a bout of eczema, which I have struggled with my whole life. I am in roughly the same shape I was in right after college and I’m 51 now. I even ran a personal best 5k this weekend.

As a result of doing the Whole30, I figured out that I needed to eliminate/minimize wheat and dairy in my diet. If you had asked me about reducing wheat and dairy intake when I was eating pizza three times a week before the Whole30, I would have said that’s impossible! But post-Whole30 it just doesn’t seem like a big deal. The Whole30 has been straight up life changing for me! Thanks!
