It's true. The Whole30 changes lives.

I started visiting a Naturopath (ND) desperately seeking a fix for my postpartum depression and anxiety. I’d already been put on an antidepressant by my 5-minute visit (if I’m lucky) primary care doctor. I’d already been going to therapy and I was still finding myself in a dark hole that I couldn’t get out of. My ND recommended the Whole30 and here I am, 30 days later #lifechanged.

It’s true. The Whole30 changes lives. I decided to start the Whole30 because I wholeheartedly trust my ND and I was at rock bottom. I faced many challenges in the first 2-3 weeks. Carb hangovers, bread cravings, antidepressant challenges, everything you could experience I got it. My digestion was improving so much that it started to feel like I had upped my antidepressant dose but I hadn’t. So my ND lowered my dose and discontinuation symptoms are really, really rough. It sort of stole my Tiger Blood but I got it in the last week. And coming off my medication was my biggest goal so it was worth it.

I have SO MANY non-scale victories but here are my favorites: increased energy, deeper sleep, clearer skin, happiness, decreased anxiety, decreased mood swings, less bloat, clothes fit again, I can cook, and I don’t crave sweets or breads! My ND doesn’t know about my results yet (it’s literally day 30 as I’m writing this) but she will and she will be thrilled! If you’re tired of your health (I mean, sickness) please give Whole30 a shot. YOU ARE WORTH IT!
