Whole30 Chimichurri Sauce

This chimichurri sauce will immediately elevate meat, vegetables, or any dish you need a zesty punch of flavor. Accessible and budget-friendly, this sauce whips up in just 5 minutes with basic ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup packed cilantro or parsley leaves (if using parsley, leaves only, no stem)
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 4 large garlic cloves peeled
  • 1/4 medium yellow onion peeled
  • 1-2 tsp red pepper flakes depending on desired heat
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions

  • COMBINE all ingredients except the olive oil in a food processor until finely chopped and well combined.
  • POUR the mixture into a small bowl and then pour the olive oil on top. Gently whisk to combine. Ideally let the mixture sit for 15 minutes to let the flavor combine before serving.
  • SERVE on top of grilled meat, such as our Steak Skewers, or roasted veggies.
  • NOTE: Sauce is best served fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days.
