Chances are you have everything you need for this recipe on hand. It’s a Whole30 compatible spin on an old family stand by and a great go-to when you only have 30 minutes to get dinner on the table.

  • 1 lb ground turkey can sub ground meat of choice
  • 1 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 18 oz can petite diced tomatoes
  • salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder to taste
  • 2 handfuls baby spinach
  • 1 10 oz bag frozen riced cauliflower
  • 1 10 oz bag frozen sweet potato cubes optional


  • BROWN ground turkey and season to taste with salt, pepper, cumin, and chili powder
  • ADD tomato paste and petite diced tomatoes and stir to combine
  • ADD spinach and cook down
  • SERVE over cauliflower rice and with sweet potatoes on the side (prepared according to directions on the package)
  • TOP with avocado, if desired
