Whole30 helped me identify the foods that trigger my anxiety.
I was encouraged to try Whole30 by my best friend and my mother-in-law, both of whom saw great benefits of their own 30 days.
After reading It Starts With Food, I completed my first Whole30 in November 2018. I just finished my fourth Whole30 in September 2019.
In that time, I lost 40lbs. I have insomnia: Whole30 helps me sleep. I have chronic pain: Whole30 decreases inflammation so I feel a big difference in my overall physical health. I have PTSD, depression, and anxiety: all of these are more manageable when I am on Whole30.
Plus reintroduction helped me identify the foods which most trigger my anxiety (the biggest culprit is, not surprisingly, sugar). Whole30 has helped me rethink my relationship with food and build a healthier mindset. I’m so grateful for Whole30 (and the Whole30 online community) and cannot recommend it enough.
