  • 1 cup lightly packed fresh basil leaves
  • ¼ cup roasted almonds
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • cup olive oil


  • In a food processor, combine 1 cup lightly packed fresh basil leaves, 1/4 cup roasted al­monds, 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and 1 clove garlic. Cover and pulse until finely chopped. With the food processor running, add 1/3 cup olive oil and process until well combined and nearly smooth.
