As a nurse practitioner, functional medicine practitioner, and Whole30 Certified Coach, I focus on helping patients find the root cause of their health concerns. I do this by addressing the foundations of health: nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and relationships.

Today, I’m sharing two videos that I created for a September Whole30 group led by fellow Whole30 Coach Theresa Newman. This group was specifically interested in learning about how to support menopause with Whole30 nutrition.

In the first video, I explain the link between nutrition and menopause and how the Whole30 can help address hormonal imbalance during menopause. I also address other contributing lifestyle factors like chronic stress and rest. In the second video, I answer specific questions that members of Theresa’s group had related to nutrition, Whole30 and menopause.

At 38 years old, I have not been through menopause yet. However, after years of battling endometriosis, I personally understand the pain and difficulty that comes with hormonal imbalance. I hope these videos are a helpful resource to you as you navigate menopause. You can learn more about my functional medicine practice on my website, Pilgrimage to Healing or follow me on Instagram.
