Beat the heat with a refreshing four-ingredient mocktail. Perfect for sipping by the pool or with your favorite cookout eats, this Whole30 Watermelon Basil Fizz is powered by LMNT Raw Unflavored Electrolytes and will keep you cool and hydrated in even the hottest summer days.
Tips and Tricks
- Since we’re not including any added sugar, using a ripe watermelon or even a yellow watermelon will result in a sweeter flavor, whereas one that isn’t as ripe will have a much less sweet finish; additionally, using melon that is closer to the center of the fruit is sweeter than the portion near the rind.
- For a sweeter mocktail, skip the sparkling water and use more watermelon juice.
- Use seedless watermelon if available since you’ll be blending the watermelon up to make the watermelon juice.
- You can also use watermelon juice purchased from the store. Just be sure the ingredients don’t include any incompatible ingredients like added sugar.
