Change your life with the Whole30

There are a number of ways to do the Whole30, and we offer resources at every level:

No matter how you choose to do the Whole30, our books offer a cohesive step-by-step approach to getting started, tips for maximizing Whole30 success, recipes to keep you well-fed, and guidance into turning your Whole30 into a lifetime of food freedom. You can find all of the Whole30 books here, but here’s where we think you should start.

Start with The New Whole30

The New Whole30 was published in August 2024, and is our fully-updated “how to” for both the Original Whole30 (for omnivores) and the Plant-Based Whole30 (for vegans, vegetarians, and those exploring a plant-based diet). Inspired by our community, the newest research, and the ever-changing food landscape, Whole30 co-founder Melissa Urban has expanded the program to be even more accessible, supportive, and effective. In The New Whole30, you’ll find completely updated rules, language, and success strategies for every phase of your journey. You’ll also find more than 100 all-new recipes plus some updated Whole30 favorites, all of which are 100% gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, and added-sugar-free.

The New Whole30 is also available as an audiobook, read by Melissa herself.

Our bestselling cookbook, fully revised!

The Whole30 Fast and Easy, Revised Edition: The Whole30 Fast & Easy has sold more than 400,000 copies since 2017. Now, it’s been fully revised with 35 exclusive new recipes and photos, plus the latest program guidelines, tips and tricks, and resources. The revised edition features 150 Whole30 recipes with little hands-on time, quick prep time, or no cooking time at all. These are skillet meals, stir-fries, sheet-pan suppers, and slow-cook or no-cook meals perfect for your Whole30 and beyond. Coming August 4, 2026; pre-order your copy today!

Your Whole30 secret weapon

Whole30 Day by Day is the companion guide to your Whole30: part field manual, part guided reflection. This softcover journal-style book is designed to help you stay connected to the process every day of the program with motivation, support, and resources specific to whatever day you are on.

Note, our new Whole30 Foundations video course (2025) provides an expanded, updated, video version of daily support!

Life after the Whole30

If this is your first Whole30, you probably want to know what “life after” is going to look like, and how you can maintain your new, healthy habits and many Whole30 non-scale victories. Or maybe you’ve done the Whole30 before, but struggled to create a healthy balance outside of the Program Rules. In both instances, reading or listening to Food Freedom Forever will help you do just that. Food Freedom Forever outlines my 3-step plan for discovering and sustaining your version of food freedom, including in-the-moment and long-term success strategies. There’s also a special section on how to talk to friends and family about your new, healthy habits in a way that brings you closer together and keeps you feeling supported on the journey.

Delicious Whole30 recipes

Our cookbooks are designed to keep you well-fed and happy through your Whole30 journey and beyond—and each contain 100 to 150 unique recipes. These aren’t a great place to start, as information on doing the Whole30 is limited, but they’re great accessories.
