These easy Whole30 “cheese” balls are PERFECT for snacking and entertaining during your Whole30 or for anyone whose Food Freedom does not include dairy. An easy, versatile appetizer great for any occasion. We’ve made two variations, one savory and one sweet, to please everyone at your table!
For the savory dairy-free cheese ball, we’re using Kite Hill’s Whole30 Approved Chive Cream Cheese and adding parsley, red onions, minced garlic, and pecans.
For the sweet version, we used Kite Hill’s Whole30 Approved Plain Cream Cheese and added apples, dates, more chives, pistachios (or chopped pecans), and orange zest.
Simply mix ingredients until well combined, then form the mixture into a ball. Next, wrap your cheese ball in seran wrap to maintain its shape, and pop it into the fridge for 30 minutes. Once chilled, take your cheese ball out of the fridge and roll over toppings, and that’s it! Serve with sliced veggies or homemade tostones, and you’re ready to dig in!
