Plant-Based Caesar Dressing

You need this Whole30 Plant-Based Caesar Dressing. It’s vegan, egg-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free. Plus, it’s so creamy and good!

This dressing is easy to make, as it uses mayo for the base. We use our Homemade Plant-Based Whole30 Mayo recipe as the base. You can also use any compatible store-bought vegan mayo you choose. Primal Kitchen offers a Whole30 Approved vegan mayo option here

Using mayo as the base not only makes this creamy but full of healthy fats that will help keep you satiated and full. Healthy fats are an essential part of the Whole30 meal template. You can find the Plant-Based Whole30 meal template here.

Making your own plant-based dressings can be budget-friendly. Also, this one only takes 5 minutes to make, once you have mayo. Even if you are making your own may for this recipe, in 15 minutes, you have a creamy, easy Plant-Based Caesar Dressing. Look at you go!

This recipe makes a thick, flavorful base. Instead of using anchovies for the Caesar flavor, we make it rich with flavor by using mayo, hummus, lemon juice, juice from a bottle of capers, dijon mustard, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Once you have that creamy base, use soy milk (or other dairy-free milk of choice) to thin it down to your desired consistency.

What are capers?

Capers are immature, unripened green buds from a caper bush. It is most often associated with Mediterranean cuisine. We use the juice for this recipe to help give a flavorful tanginess. They are usually found in the condiment aisle by the olives.

A great sauce can make all the difference!

We love using this dressing to make our Plant-Based Caesar Bowl. Want more Plant-Based sauces? Here are some other Plant-Based Whole30 options we love!
